Why I started #JennieProject

I started a program JUST FOR THIS!! After earning my MBA, I became more and more convinced, that economic justice can occur faster through business ownership. My single mom of seven of us fought her whole life as a waitress and cook. She was well known for her “rollos de canella.” If she had someone to guide her through the process, things could have looked differently for her. I created a program for all of us Latinas to build our own wealth instead of asking for more or “leaning in” even further. (If I leaned in any more than I was, I would have fallen over!)
